How CarsnSale works
Listing a car as a private seller is free. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you start your ad to the day you hand over the keys.
1. Add your vehicle details
Make, model, year, mileage, condition and location. The more accurate your detail, the higher your listing ranks in filtered searches.
2. Upload good photos
Our photo assistant checks quality, angle coverage and duplicates, and can hide your number plate for privacy. Aim for at least eight photos in daylight.
3. Price it right
Use the free valuation tool as a starting point. Listings priced close to market get far more enquiries in the first week.
4. Submit for review
Our moderation team checks the listing (usually within a business day). Once approved it goes live on the marketplace.
5. Handle enquiries
Buyer enquiries land in your dashboard and inbox. Reply quickly, arrange a safe viewing and complete the change of ownership.
