CarsnSale.co.za is an online marketplace that connects private sellers and dealerships with buyers in South Africa. We are not a party to any sale concluded between users.
Listings
Sellers must advertise only vehicles they are legally entitled to sell, and all details, including mileage, condition and accident history, must be accurate. We may remove listings that are misleading, duplicated or unlawful.
Buyer responsibility
Buyers must inspect a vehicle in person, verify the VIN and engine number against the registration papers and obtain a police clearance before paying. Never transfer money before you have seen the vehicle.
Consumer protection
Dealership sales are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Private sales are typically concluded “voetstoots”, and buyers should satisfy themselves as to the condition of the vehicle.
Liability
We provide the platform “as is” and are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users.
